Multifunctional house on the corner of Bratislavská and Stará in Brno. The solution of a vacant lot and the reaction to the current situation in the surroundings of Cejl. The basis of the aproach to the proposal was an intention to hold, underline and establish the specific character which can be sensed throughout the whole district and which makes the district special in the relationship to other parts of Brno. The proposal is completing the vacant lot and it is creating a defined street line. The design is working with the inner space rather than with its surroundings which is characteristic for the whole area of Cejl. The building has quite a strict look on the outside but it is the intention not to disturb the look of the streets.

The proposed multi-functional building is located on the corner of Bratislava and Old in Brno. The land is made up of several parcels and falls under the city of Brno Zabrdovice. This district is characterized by its block development, which is the completion of a significant corner. Near the Theater Joy, Puppet Museum, primary school and the Museum of Roma Culture. There Good walking distance to public transport and city center. The whole concept is based on the survey and analysis of the missing features sites and public spaces. The proposed concept is based on the following the theater, providing public space for leisure and café for use of the general public. An important clue is a primary school. An analysis of the environment is an obvious lack of sports facilities, it follows a proposal climbing wall, playground, dance floor, which in winter is converted to ice rink for skating. In the Museum of Roma Culture, which is near plots, lack facilities for the production of fine products, and a ballroom. Art workshop and dance hall are part of the design. The perimeter of the plot is divided into two masses. The street is designed Bratislava temporary accommodation - hostel in a street of old multi-functional building. Among these Matter is designed input - gateway, which is connected to the theater. Gateway creates levitating mass, which opens from the street entrance to the courtyard and is accessible public. The corner of creating prestigious spaces smaller local galleries products and a library. A high wall that lines the plot is used for climbing wall, near the Administration Building and rent climbing equipment. This building serves as a lookout for events in the courtyard.

Proposal for the multifunctional building is located within the City and to more accurately Brno - center . The shape of the proposed buildings complements the missing mass corner . It creates what the imaginary connecting node both street front . Buildings also respects the height of adjacent buildings . The whole building consists of one basement and six floors. Towards the street in Bratislava effort to parter is as open as possible and make pawn courtyard space . At the same time due to what arises from the space directly opposite the theater joy that visitors can theater be used freely . Old Street is then conceived as a quieter street with passing on the main floor and a number of shops that attract a pawn just to enter the building. On the corner is then in a spacious ground floor cafe . The building in the street in Bratislava are on the second floor lounge for tenants and the third to the sixth apartments themselves . In the second building on the street of old apartments are located in the second to sixth floors .

Task of this bachelor thesis was to resolve a problematic parcel on the corner of Stará and Bratislavská streets. This object works as a housing area and his associated functions are shops. This proposal offers open green space of park and by this it rises huge value not only to itself but to whole neighbourhood. From the view of Bratislavská it respects existing buildings.

Multifunctional house on the corner of the streets Bratislavska and Stara, contents apartements, sport centre with coffée, comercial and administrative places for rent. It completes vacant lot, there is a small public place in the corner which is shifted. There is also a great tree as a dominant. Courtyard is projected as a park with the trees, grass and the small lake for create the more natural enviroment. In the house there are an apartements of different areas and quality leveled from the street to courtyard. There are two floors which contents 93 parking places under the ground.
